Electrolysis stations’ capacity:from 0,5 to 32 kg of a.c./day The specialists of Jupiter NPF, Corp. realized the industrial method of water treatment with the help of the low-concentrated electrolytic sodium hypochlorite and developed a standardized series of flow-through electrolytic cells to implement it. The underground mineralized water rich in sodium chloride, artificial solution of common salt or sea water are used to produce the sodium hypochlorite. The electrolysis is carried out in the flow-through regime of the mineralized water supply through the electrolytic cell. The active chlorine concentration of the sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution obtained at the electrolytic cell output is 8.0 g/l.
An electrolysis station consists of the following units and systems: An electrolysis plant comprises the following: The technological process of the sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution production is as described below: – the mineralized water is delivered through the pressure pipeline to the electrolytic cells by means of the pump. The quantity of the water delivered to the electrolytic cells is regulated with the help of the valves and controlled by the water consumption meters installed at the inlets of the electrolytic cells; – The water running through the electrolytic cells is electrolyzed. The sodium hypochlorite solution is obtained at the electrolytic cell output. The sodium hypochlorite solution is then delivered from the electrolytic cells to the surge vessels. From the surge vessels the solution is pumped for disinfection while the active chlorine quantity is regulated by the productivity of the pumps delivering the hypochlorite. The technology and equipment of an electrolysis station that processes underground mineralized water and the one that processes solution of common salt are almost similar. The standardized series of the flow-through electrolytic cells manufactured by the Jupiter NPF, Corp. provides the unit capacity from 0.05 to 10 kg/h of the sodium hypochlorite per the active chlorine concentration. The technology of Jupiter makes it possible to: – eliminate the highly toxic chlorine facilities; – ensure the environmental and technological safety at a Water Treatment Station; – decrease the concentration of the chlorine-organic compounds in the potable and drainage water; – ensure operational reliability of the water treatment; – increase the corrosion resistance of the pipelines. The electrolysis stations can be used for water disinfection not only at the water stations, but also in swimming pools, holiday villages, at thermal power plants (for cleaning the pipelines from the accumulated bio-substances), in hospitals, etc – wherever there is a necessity to disinfect potable or drainage water. The quantity of the produced reagent can be increased by means of installation of the required number of the electrolysis plants (within the offered standardized series) at an object to be disinfected. The environmental effect of the chlorine disinfection technology is obvious and the investments in the introduction of the present technology are compensated, as the practice shows, within two-five years depending on the capacity of the plant. A custom order may include: The sodium hypochlorite automated proportioning system by the residual chlorine after the primary and (or) secondary chlorination. |
